A 20-year-old man is expected to appear in the Vryburg Magistrate's Court this morning, where he will apply for bail to await trial at home.
Tlamelo Mokae is accused of stabbing his neighbor Freddy English 57 years of age, on July 5 this year.
Mokae has previously appeared in court on charges of attempted murder.
There was a protest outside the court when he appeared yesterday. Protesters are calling for Mokae not to be granted bail.
Bail hearings continue today.
